What a poppet
Another good day at work, save only for a couple more hectoring emails from a former client who is being hugely unfair but I refuse to rise to the provocation.
The main news today is that we are nearly ready to complete on the sale of B's house and it was important to sign the transfer today to get it back to the solicitors for completion on Monday. So I arranged for it to be emailed to me and straight after work drove to C's to meet with P to sign up.
My journey should have taken 50 minutes with my fuel stop but took an hour and 15 minutes because of a problem on the M1 which meant other roads were clogged. Then I missed a turn off a dual carriageway and ended up following my nose in the pitch black and rain through various Northamptonshire villages I've never been through before in a rather roundabout way. Why didn't I just put the sat nav on? Goodness knows!
Anyway, I got to play with and cuddle Teddy, whom I haven't seen in several weeks and also had some lovely cuddles with a fast asleep two week old Tilly. Ah, lovely. H was there with P too and we enjoyed a lovely meal together. (My blip is Tilly cuddled up to her cousin H).
P is in Cambridge today and tomorrow having her exam and interview for Clare College. She really wants to get in so fingers crossed for her. C has booked 17 of us to eat in the pub in Woburn after the ashes scattering on 21st. I'm surprised they can take us all but it sounds good.
I put a few pictures back up when I got home and am having an earlyish night after last night's late one.
