Busy with Benz

Busy day. A morning trip to Tunbridge Wells to collect a new trophy that has been made for the Southern Group of Motoring Writers' annual charity karting event. It looks rather fine. The trophy maker has done a very good job. I may well blip it another day.

Then I headed to Brooklands where a press driving event was happening at Mercedes-Benz World. Drove some cars, caught up with Mercedes PR contacts, chatted to some motoring writer colleagues. It was a useful afternoon.

Mercedes doesn't really do things in modest style, so the Christmas decorations in the grand and lofty showroom were predictably impressive. Grandest of all was this enormous two-storey Christmas tree!
