Cleaning the gutters

I finally made my Xmas cake today, and I remembered to pour over the brandy once it was cooked. Last year I forgot this vital part to making a Xmas cake!

It was a lovely hot day today, perfect for getting the washing dry. It wasn't until 4.30ish this afternoon that the cloud started to roll in. By 5.15pm it was absolutely pouring, which lasted for about 10 minutes. I'm sure the garden enjoyed it's watering since it was so hot during the day.

After tea I was outside looking for a photo, when I saw Farmerboy up a ladder, cleaning out the gutters. A good job done!
