Day at the races

After living in the area for 30 years I was delighted to be able to enjoy a day at Lingfield races for the very first time. I was one of a jolly party so food and drink were included and it really was a great day. I didn't win enough to change my life but the experience was a good one. I've included pictures of the horses of course but also a little memorial to Davy Jones of The Monkees fame. I've also include a picture showing that planes are now flying into Gatwick having had a very sticky time yesterday.
We are now spraying in London for the night as we are seeing The Messiah by Candlelight at The Royal a Festival Hall tonight. Can't wait!!
