TALK TO ME OF MENDOCINO

Ok, so I've been in one of my favourite stores today .... och well, we're all allowed a wee bit of indulgence, now and again! Aren't we?

Music is another of my indulgences ... actually, it's a necessity!

My closet friend Bill said if he ever comes back to this world in another life he hopes it is as the village simpleton so he can sit all day and every day listening to live music in the liveliest pub he can find! No one will bother him - except give him food and perhaps the occasional pint of Guinness - and he will have come as close to heaven, as is possible in any life. He is indeed a wise and good man, my friend Bill!

Of the wide and eclectic range of music shared and enjoyed by us - we once co-hosted a radio music programme together called "Ear to the Ground" - a recurring and lasting favouite is Kate and Anna McGarrigle. Sadly Kate died in last month from a rare form of cancer, however she has lef an incredible musical legacy for all of us to enjoy and here is one of them!
