Love that gives everything

 At creative prayer this morning I was given this verse.

Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behaviour from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn’t love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that. - Ephesians 5:1-2,MSG

We then used air drying clay to model. This isn't a very good photo but I made the cross where Jesus gave everything of himself for me. His love was so strong that even on the cross, in his pain, he could hold me right. I am being held by the nail pierced hands of the one who gave his all to me. In return I want to give my all to him.
