" THOSE WERE THE DAYS MY FRIEND "
I feel this capture is the same now as it would have been hundreds of years ago!
We went to Dunster this morning to go to a special shop to buy Adrian a Christmas present. That is the beauty of this lovely old village, all the shops are unique. I will miss this charming place when we eventually move to Cornwall.
It has been very cold today and Mr A got quite chilled whilst waiting outside one of the shops. He stood with Phoebe, not wanting to bring her in, despite the shop keeper saying it was OK. So we were glad to get home to our love warm house and enjoy a log fire.
The weather is set to be wet tomorrow which will make taking Matthew out quite difficult but it will be good to see him. He is getting very excited about coming home again for Christmas and we love having him home with his wonderful gift of trying to make everyone happy. He cant cope with sadness so at least at this time of year he has something special to celebrate. We hope to see Adrian tomorrow too but know he doesn't enjoy all the changes that have to happen at Christmas. After all how can we explain it to him!
I hope you have all enjoyed today and I wish you a good nights sleep, tucked up in bed. I can't imagine what it must be like to be homeless in this cold weather without anyone to love. There isn't enough love in the world, fact. xxxxxxxxxx
