"WHAT A DAY THIS HAS BEEN"
The weather today has been glorious. No wind, no rain and glorious sunshine. Felt like a summer's day almost compared to the cold wet days over the last few weeks.
We made the most of it by cutting back a very straggly rose growing over a trellis in the side garden. Cutting back a very leggy fuschia before taking Phoebe down to the beach for a romp. We all enjoyed a wonderful time.
This afternoon/evening we were treated to a fantastic roast dinner by our lovely new friends, Belinda, Derek & their lovely daughter Josie. Josie is a whizz with puddings and made a chocolate trifle. Matthew managed two helpings, I don't know how. I now feel I should starve for the rest of the week! We had a thoroughly wonderful time while Phoebe and Henley, their Labrador, mixed happily together. Their house is like a fairy wonderland with two bedecked Christmas trees and fairy lights everywhere.
I hope you have all enjoyed a great weekend and that the week ahead is kind to you all. Much love xxxx
