This spot of the curve in the canal from Rotterdam towards Leiden that passes from Delft and Den Haag, this spot at Overschie is just beneath the runway route of Rotterdam airport ~ it's old looks make me forget modern highways are close by and it's the continuation of the Vliet, originally dugged out by the Romans
