Old Apple Tree
A cold and frosty morning and TT was up early this morning to go for his run – he is running every day in advent. The boys were then off to BB’s football and came back frozen. I did a few chores, which included making chicken noodle soup. It had been specifically requested for lunch by BB and was very well received!
We then packed up the car and headed to granny and granddad’s. The further north we went, the whiter the countryside was. It was dark by the time we got there, so unfortunately no snowy blip.
TT and I then headed off to meet up with some old friends for what is now becoming a traditional Christmas curry – and very nice it was too. Lovely food and lovely company with lots of catching up to be done. Us ladies might still be chatting!
Home very late, but we were aware of a thaw as the roads were wet.
This is an emergency blip of the old apple tree in our garden – taken just before we set off on our journey.
