Baby Days

I had to resort to an archive shot today as my memory card corrupted and I lost the few shots I did manage to get as I ambled this morning.

I hope this shot is allowed to remain, I went hunting for it after I found the dress carefully packed away one of those mementos that marks a place in time. This was Mimi at 8 months trying on the dress bought for Auntie Lorna's wedding. I love this photograph, it is one of those from their first year that I can always picture in my minds eye. I love the beauty and innocence of the child captured with the sheer unadulterated joy of a little girl with a new dress.

If it does not survive I will try and get a replacement memory card tomorrow, one lost and one corrupted in a few weeks is not good... I hope it stays and I hope it makes you smile
