Fränsta church from Vikbron
After our late night out in Ånge we stayed with friends nearby and awoke to glorious sun, hard frost and no wind.
Here, inland, the cold is fiercer because the sea is so far away and today's -11°C is no big deal. The air is very dry because all the lakes are frozen over and even running water mostly runs under the ice.
So, sun, no wind and dry, dry air - the perfect winter's day!
I took several photos from here and it was really hard to decide. The frost crystal close-up which was the main contender, the long wooden footbridge itself, the dark water and clear ice, or the church? If you want to see if you agree with my choice check out this picture and five others on my Flickr.
This is a backblip so today's real blip is to be found here.
