Rubislaw Den

Rubislaw Den has some of the largest and most expensive granite houses in the City. Some of them demonstrate fantastic granite workmanship such as this example at the top of the street.

The street is named after the local granite quarry ( Rubislaw) which is close by, and the Denburn stream which flows behind the houses in the street. The houses have private access to the Denburn behind their houses . I believe the area is laid out with paths - must be a nice place to walk but unfortunately only the folk who can afford the houses in the street have access.
