Stripy socks

Today I have:

~ spent nearly an hour ironing while listening to Ken Bruce on Radio 2;

~ baked a batch of shortbread to take to friends tomorrow, plus a tray of vegan chocolate brownies, yet to be tested but it looks ok;

~ finished writing my local Christmas cards, which I hope to deliver on foot;

~ been to the library to renew my book and while there spotted 'Nigella Christmas', so have brought it home to drool over the pictures;

~ worn my favourite socks.


Oh, the hustle and bustle at this time of year! (Tongue firmly placed in cheek)
