Busy day in the office, writing and emailing and test car booking. Then late this afternoon I popped out to see a very good friend who is over on a visit from Canada, and to see and have a chat with her very sprightly, ever interesting 94 year old mother.

My friend and I did a speedy supermarket run to stock her mother's larder, then we paid a quick visit into the High Street for a few items.

This reminded me of another, rather posh friend I haven't seen for a while who is not averse to budget shopping, but can't bring herself to call shops by their downmarket (in her view anyway) names. So Primark is 'Primani' and good old M&S is 'The Sieff Collection'!
