Not In Focus
I've been doing a lot of macros recently with the TTV contraption because I find the focus and distortion interesting. I've been wanting to do more portraits but over the past week all I could get to sit still for me was a few stone statues. So today when Jenny got home from work I pulled her outside for a few shots. She proved to be a tired and unwilling model so I was left on my own with the last bits of daylight to poke around the yard for a blip.
The fickle nature of TTV focus brought me this happy accident, where the dirt and frame took the focus from the subject. I quite like the painterly look to it and the tactile feeling of the edge.
