Temecula wine tasting

Such a busy day!

Started things off right with a 4 mile jog down to Swami's. Longest I've gone in awhile and only stopped a couple of times to rest.

Then I headed down to Road Runner Sports for the lab rescue's adoption event. I went to specifically meet a dog named Pheobe who I was told would make a great fit for us. Pheobe turned out to be a doll! So mellow and sweet. But there was another couple there that also clearly liked her and were sort of pushing me away. Annoying. After chatting with Pheobe's foster dad, I told him that I really liked her but that R wouldn't be able to swing by for another hour since he was at work.

I left the adoption event and headed up to Temecula for a friend's birthday party. They coordinated a wine tasting van tour ... And it was fun but I had my mind on the dog.

When R met up with us a few hours later he shared the bad news that Pheobe had gotten adopted. Boo! I beg it was that pushy couple!

The wine tasting tour was fun... Thought South Coast was the best and Callaway the worst. We also stopped at Wein's and one other small one pictured here ... Can't remember the name but it was definitely picturesque!
