Guess who's been to TJ's?

Just can't resist this daffodils! Yellow is my favorite color. So bright and cheery!

This is pretty much a desperation blip. After working at school all morning in the classrooms, I came home for a couple hours to get stuff done, and had to get right back to lead a Daisy meeting. (Earned their yellow petal today by the way!) When we came home, there were BEES flying all over our entryway!! YIKES! Not swarming, really, but just searching for a place to call home. So I ended up [racing into the house] talking to a 'bee catcher'. He can't get here until the end of next week! Well, that won't do!

He was nice enough to help me figure out what to do with them. After I described what they seemed to be doing, he said that they were 'scout bees' and they wouldn't attack or sting me.....okay...I'll take your word for it....but I'm trusting you! He told me to spray them with some sort of chemical (I chose Hot Spot bug spray) and spray the area they were flying around. So I pulled up my big girl panties and sprayed the heck out of the hollow pillar by the front door!!

And ya know! It worked! Within the hour, they disappeared! I shall spray some more tomorrow, so's they don't come back. I appreiciate what they do for all the flowers, but, sorry, they can't live here!!
