Essay #1

Tonight I'm turning in the first essay I've written in forty years. "The Use of Irony and Symbolism in 'The Lottery". I'm going over it one more time. I went into the writing center yesterday and they said they usually don't get final rough drafts coming in. Usually its just some ideas for brainstorming. They said it looked pretty good and just add some more explanitory sentances to make it more cohesive. Peggy did a great job of editing my work before I got there. It helps being married to a professor who is honest with my writing. Maybe I should have sent Rosie a copy also. Oh, well. It's turned in now.
