Storm over Staffin
Another day on Skye and we awoke to gale force winds and driving rain showers. Interestingly we noted that the BBC weather forecast had changed 3 times over the preceding 24 hours and still didn't get it right......
Our prior plan had been to walk the Quiraing but the weather was too foul to venture up there so plan B was put into effect. We decided on a drive around Trotternish which is my favourite part of the island. I took this shot from just South of the village of Staffin looking to the imposing bulk of the Trotternish ridge with storm clouds gathering over the Quiraing.
