There is a particular pleasure in Reading a novel in situ. This morning we rambled over the slopes of the Black Mountain near Hay-on--Wye and this afternoon I am sitting in its shadow Reading Bruce Chatwin's book about twin brothers who lived their lives on this hillside! Happy days'
