My Saturday evening was very pleasantly spent with some good friends from Uni times.

Alison (pictured) is the latest in a lengthening list of Cambridge hillwalker-friends who have taken the plunge and moved north of the border to Edinburgh. Here she on the phone to finalise her hectic flat-visiting schedule, looking for somewhere to rent from the start of April.

Aparently a lot of the flats she saw were a disappointment compared to the stunning bay window of Alex's Warrender Park Road flat. Judging by all the paper on the table, there were plenty of options to chose from, at least!

It made me wonder. In a world where there is so much choice and opportunity for change: How often is the best view found from the window in which we are already sitting?
