Tree number 2480 to base. Is my number up.

In yesterday's blip I was boasting how I knew why the trees were sporting number tags. This one is number 2480. I was told it was because they were preserved trees. I since found out it could be because they were part of a tree survey. Now I am not sure. I might have been barking up the wrong tree. So if anyone out in Blipland knows, I would be very pleased to know. In the meantime I will pursue the story of the tree tags relentlessly.
