Toadally Mad

I'm pretty sure I blipped this last year too. It's a lovely scented rose in our greenhouse - not hardy so it can't grow outside in Scotland - and was a present from my Dad many years ago. My grandfather's family had a market garden in Thrapston, Northants and Dad remembered the same variety of rose being grown there. Last summer we visited Dad's cousins and saw the site of the smallholding, it's all overgrown now and all the buildings have long since gone.

Here's the same rose last year on 7th April. According to Mr T it's flowering earlier this year because he pruned it at a different time.
