Winter coat.

This little fellow was in our garden today. I am assuming that he has been in hibernation all winter and as it is starting to warm up he has ventured out and is shedding his winter coat, hence his scraggy look. He was quite willing to climb onto my hand, so after I had taken his photo I gently put him in the shrubs out of harms way from birds.
