What is it with eggs these days?

Decided a few weeks ago to boil and egg, left it on for ages, took it off, opened it and it was running like a school boy's nose!
Today I decided to have another go, well left dam egg on for an eggternity, came back, flipped its lid......an lo more mucus contents, running like an Glasgow wean stealing ginger.

Have this generation of hens gone soft and are laying puny eggs?
Hubby says I didnt leave it on long enough, well i could have done a weeks washing in the time it took, then he said "you should time it from whence the water boils" so I tried that with the next clutch of eggsepiments and lo! did it not come out looking like a bolshie wee niaf, chucked its heid aff and yay! a good hard boiled egg .

In between avoiding doing real work, I know that in the back of my mind I need to tidy this pigpen of a house as my pal arrives tomorrow. I will have to clean such things as cooker rings, floors, shelves, gosh I am going weak thinking about it.

Got a call from eldest daughter saying the bank account my mother had for her , which the lawyer said to give to her, well she went into the bank to get some money out and the nippy sweetie teller said "I can't give you money how do I know you are who you say you are?" also "It has another person's name on it" My daughter patiently explaine d the other name was her grans who had died last year and who had opened the account one for each of her grandchildren. "have you proof you grandmother is dead?" what a question

I phoned the lawyer who said the bank themselves had okayed it to give the kids their books and that they could draw their pennies out. Now daughter has to meet with said bank manager (TSB) to show him a death certificate, plus they never explained to my mother that the accs needed altered once the kids grew beyond 18! Honestly banks are just highway robbers made legal, they are trying to hang on to a few miserable hunner quid for as long as possible and made the whole experience for my daughter very unpleasant, hope they get robbed!

Problem has appeared, someone has requested me friend them on my facebook, but I don't want to suggestions please!!!!
