Jump!

Lovely day! Grace and I made some Easter crispy cake nests early on, to compliment the caramel shortbread made last night, ready for the visit of three friends and their little ones for tea this morning. One stayed for lunch too and we had a good natter whilst the toddlers watched 'The Gruffalo' for the umpteenth time!

Despite a very dismal and foggy start, the day ended up just lovely and very springlike in the warm sunshine, so Grace and I went outside whilst my Dad listened into Ophelia on the baby monitor. She had a long nap in the end - just over 90 minutes - so we had lots of time to jump in muddy puddles and also spent a while in the garden getting things tidied up ready for the new season. Grace 'planted' one of her grandma's fairy ornaments that was in one of last year's pots.
