I managed to get out in the garden for the morning and start to tidy up after the winter - what a mess everywhere! Still, it always looks much nicer when it's done and I can heave a sigh of relief - and I even gave the grass its first cut too. In the front garden, there is a lovely japanese cherry tree that doesn't flower for long but is beautiful when it does. As you can see, the blossom is just about to open. Adam said that the cherry blossom season in Japan is getting underway - I would love to go and see it one year.
