This is a shot of a piece of work I did ages ago - back in about 2002/3. I was one of the first main assignments when I was doing City & Guilds Embroidery, and was very pleased with it at the time - everything seemed to come together really well for the brief I was given. I am still very proud of it, and, sadly in some ways, I'm not sure I've ever produced anything since that has been as good or has worked so well. Peaked too early, I think! Still, I have a few years left in me to keep trying.
