Wake me up...

As predicted, the day was upon me before I knew it after the frivolities of last night. Zombie-mode has been the mood of choice for the day.

I watched the weather forecast this evening in horror at the snow / sleet / hail / rain / wind / general misery predictions and I thought I would be wise to bring in the Himalayan blue poppy plant that was recently given to me and was just beginning to grow in earnest. I didn't think my little pot would be happy at the turn in temperature.

I was quite surprised at how designer-stubbly the leaves had become - almost George Michaelesque. They did trap the raindrops in quite a nice way though.
