The Highland Chainsaw Massacre

It's been a miserable, dull and freezing day today in the The Glen. I've been full of the cold so I didn't get up until midday after dosing myself with paracetamol and cups of tea but by mid-afternoon the courier arrived with my new chain for the chainsaw.

So it was a case of getting wrapped up and trying it out - my goodness, talk about a knife through butter! The sawdust was flying among the snowflakes and wiithin 20 minutes I had cut enough for tonight and tomorrow - so we're all super cosy.

Tomorrow will be a super cutting day, all the wood has been drying for around nine months so it just needs sawing and stacking. The calories will be falling off.
