Nautical Themes

I remember a couple of months ago reading somewhere that this season's fashions would be "nautical". Blue with white piping: that sort of thing. And as I took a short cut through M&S today I could see it was true. Row upon row of serried stripey nauticalness.
Having attended a midday play (with pie and pint) with some prominent local blippers, and being tooled up with the lovely Lumix, I had a bash at photographing their displays whilst evading the shoppers. Needless to say, the photos were well pish compared to yesterday's loveliness. Thanks for the favourites etc, btw!
Luckily, later on at our weekly get together at the Diggers, Mr McM  aka "big John", sported this season's fashions! Blue and white and stripey. And John is crewmate number one once the boat is purloined. He can sing and cook, play bohran, and has actually sailed to St Kilda.  I'll just need to laugh at his jokes.
