Pinata Night!

We started making the pinata on Monday! Did a 2nd layer of mache on Tuesday and painted and decorated today! And, in true form, we couldn't wait to bust the thing open. SO, we invited Hannah and her family over for dinner and had an early Easter related celebration, complete with whacking a pinata.

Since we have no better place to put the thing, Uncle Chris is our designated Pinata holder. He is a real sport!! The kids were thrilled when chocolate eggs, marshmallow bunnies and chocolate carrots flew out of the pinata!

So many days of hard work for just a few minutes of fun.. But boy, was that fun memorable!
