The Wizard- Chapter 2

Ian Chalmers,whose full time occupation is a chain saw carver, arrived today to begin creating our Wizard or Tree Spirit.
He had battled through snow and icy conditions to reach us from the north of Scotland.

Here in our five mile world it was a stunning, sunny spring day.
The peace and quiet of early morning then was shattered by the gentle hum and roar of the chain saw!
Ian worked hard all day wielding various sizes of chain saws, blow torches, and power sander to the delight of the gathered crowds. Neighbours popped in and out of the garden during the day to witness the skill and craftsmanship as slowly our Tree Spirit emerged.

We are delighted with the result so far......................!
