Hangin' Out
Went to Southside Boulevard on reports from my stepdaughter that there were bluebonnets in bloom. The bluebonnet is the state flower of Texas, where I lived for seven years. As the saying goes, "I wasn't born in Texas but I got here as fast as I could".
You may have gathered that I have something of a soft spot for Texas and you would be right. Unlike Florida, Texas has a soul. Where is Florida's answer to Albert Collins, Freddie King, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings?
The silence of the response is deafening.
The shots of the bluebonnets turned out okay but walking back to the car behind a strip mall, I came across these two mops propped up against the wall. It seemed a better shot to post.
