Joint Celebrations

Today we made the drive to Portland where our daughter, son-in-law, and grands live and had a most wonderful joint celebration of birthdays and Easter! We celebrated my husband's birthday just over a week ago but continued the celebration again tonight in conjunction with an early celebration of our grandson's upcoming 4th birthday! We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon and evening together with yummy food that our daughter prepared...including these yummy lemon bars that the guys are blowing the candles out on!

In addition to eating and singing Happy Birthday, we also enjoyed playing games, chatting and taking lots of pictures and the evening concluded with reading bedtime stories to the kiddos and a little more visiting before we headed home.

It was a wonderful, fun and love-filled day! Happy Easter to everyone!
