Andover Hawk Conservancy Trust
I spent most of this fine Easter Sunday down at the Hawk Conservancy Trust in Andover. I'd been there before a long time ago, and have been keen to revisit it for some time. I love birds of prey, and I really love a good birds of prey flying demonstration; I've been to them all over the country but two really stick out for me: the Screech Owl Sanctuary in Cornwall, and the Hawk Conservancy Trust. The quality of the displays at Andover, though, really are something special.
The observant reader may, at this point, have noticed that I have not yet mentioned what type of bird I decided to pick, out of the 700-odd pictures I took today, to use as my Blip. That's largely because I've plain forgotten... Oops.
However, my wife and I loved it so much we decided to become members, so I'll be re-visiting in time, and hopefully improve my bird of prey recognition!
