There's Snow on Them Thar Hills

Taken from the car while zipping along the Edinburgh Road from Peebles. Mr Dazed sabotaged my other attempts by squirting the windscreen with washer just as I took the photo. Grrrrr...

We met up with the in-laws today and took a drive to Traquair House for the Easter Egg Hunt. We helped our wee nieces with a scavenger hunt and then they got to look for Easter Eggs in the maze.

After that we drove back up to Edinburgh to my Mum's, who had cooked a slap-up lunch of roast lamb, roast potatoes, roast onions, roast carrots and parsnips, spinach and peas. Followed by my all time favourite Mum-cooked dessert - lemon meringue pie just out of the oven. Mmmmm, yum yum.

After lunch all we could do was lie groaning in front of the telly and catch up on last night's Doctor Who. I must say that despite my trepidation I rather like the new Doctor. I see, though, from the series flash-forward at the end that those scary-assed angel statues from 'Blink' will be making a reappearance. Hide behind the sofa time...
