There is a green hill

Juno and I up early for the usual walk. Not many dogs or people on our way round. At the car park, it was really busy, families started gathering, then the guitar and bibles came out. They were up the hill for, well who knows. Glad I did not meet them on the hill in the middle of whatever.

Popped over to the allotment to water the greenhouse and catch up on the gossip.

Back home to finish the DIY, all done and left the eco girls to put the room back into shape.

Eco son and I took Juno out fro a walk, Juno went mad on the egg white and yolks that were scattered on the hill. I took the boy round some possible local mountain biking areas and then down to the Hermitage of Braid. The path was flodded at one point so we fixed the drain and had the water going down the right way. We found a metal stake and made a grove in the cement for the water to flow inot the burn. Great fun, we met the Ranger who thanked us and asked us to join the volunteers, prefer the guerrilla conservation, no health and safety.

Eco gran up for tea and an evening chatting.

Watched the frogs defend the spawn today, well that is what it looked like. I spied two newts getting very close to each other all this in the back garden.
