Easter-ly Wind

The sun shone brightly on Castle Semple Loch in Lochwinnoch this afternoon, allowing us to have a pleasant if bracing stroll along the breezy shore's edge. Very nice.

This loch is now a water sports centre and there were many people out canoeing, paddling and sailing. Despite my obsession with blipping the beach at Porty, water is just not my thing; I think many childhood years spent desperately avoiding having to go in a rickety rowing boat on fishing holidays has fostered an ingrained preference for dry land.
