Highland Clearances

Spent another day sorting through a lot of my dad's stuff in his computer room. This was the hub of his latter life and consisted mainly of clutter, discs and never-ending wires.

Clearing has been a bittersweet experience but it's nice when you come upon some things you haven't seen or heard for many years. These are indoor bagpipes which apparently create less noise than the full set, though I would challenge this. I have early memories of my dad tramping up and down the living room playing at full pelt and frightening the life out of anyone in the house.

However, when they're silent, they do have a certain charm, only previously seen in Brigadoon.
