I plucked up the courage to tidy my sons bedroom in an attempt to see the carpet again after 4 weeks of school holidays so far.

Amongst mostly electronic toys, radio controlled everythings and playstation games I was pleasantly surprised to find a "slinky"

I remember having one of those and playing for ages on the stairs - what do we tell them now "DON'T PLAY ON THE STAIRS!" ahh well those were the days.

The novelty of playing on the stairs has worn off ( although I do confess to having a little go with it) and I spotted instead the potential of the shape and colour, see I have grown up a bit!

So here we have it - a slinky
