Moschatel

This is a backblip from yesterday. More inlaw probs meant that I completely lost interest in posting last night. Anyway this is a specialist spring wildflower that can be found mainly in damp woodlands at this time of year. It flowers early taking advantage of the lack of woodland leaf canopy. The flower is only 5mm across and is locally known as the 'town hall clock' because it has four flowers facing NWES and a fifth on top. Sadly it will be gone in less than two weeks until next spring.
