Double yellows - SP

After getting up at stupid o clock (2.45am) to get Cal off into Preston so that he could go on geog field trip to Switzerland, for five days, the last this I really wanted to do was a days hard graft at the Wildlife Trust Brockholes work day. I was in charge of litter picking one section but also tidying up around the main entrance including painting some ad hoc double yellows. I would have been quite happy as tea boy for the day. First job was to clean all the gutters and gullies of accumulated crap and weeds to get a good clean surface for the paint to stick. A ball of string, hammer and nails to get a straight line and hey presto Double Yellows. Anne Kingston who took this today did the honors for my blip. I like this shot as it shows that my alleged (by my sons) bald patch is non existent.
