Irish Raptor

This is Kerr choosing his horse for the Grand National. We cut up all the horse names from the newspaper and put them into one of his stacking cups. He then stuck his hand in and first of all pulled several out at once. Second attempt he managed to pull just one out - Irish Raptor. Kersdaddy put on his bet - £5 each way. Irish Raptor would definitely have won if it wasn't for his nasty fall at the 14th fence ;-)

I decided to use Kerr's method of horse choosing too, and pulled Dream Alliance out of the stacking cup. The only mention he got in the commentary was about half way through the race when the commentator said 'and Dream Alliance is a mile back' Ha, typical!

Kerrsauntie and kerrsuncle came to visit today and watched the Grand National with us. Auntie Lisa's horse came in 5th (yay for Hello Bud!) so it wasn't all wasted money.
