Tarnished treasures

Saturday morning hikes are becoming a really nice way to kick off the weekend. Today Julieann, M's mom, was visiting and joined us. J and her husband hosted us over the holidays in their cabin in Northern California so it was really great to see her again and catch up.

After the hike, I started cleaning up this metal tray that belonged to Mel's grandmother. M is letting me use it for my wedding. I think it's going to be a perfect tray for the cake or desserts once it's cleaned up.

Lunch with the ladies at Beachside... Now ready to hang out with R and catch up on three episodes of Lost!
