It's a Black Lab Beach Party!

I met up with C and her mom at 25th St. in Del Mar at 6:30 this morning to walk our dogs. (The earlier the better so we can let them off leash which is technically not allowed except between Memorial Day and Labor Day . . . a totally random and super lame leash law.)

The dogs are, from left to right, Maverick (13 years old and extremely hard of hearing), my dog, Kona (the free spirit who has selective hard of hearing), and Amber (the ball obsessed pip squeek of the group).

We try to get the dogs out to the beach at least once a week - it's as good for the humans as it is for the animals. But I always need a nap later. ;-)
