The Best Hangover Cure.

We rolled in at about 5.30am after leaving the club as it closed! We might have not been as young as all the other people, but we certainly had more stamina!

We managed to surface in order to catch breakfast before it finished; but remember little about it, except that we felt the need to wear sunglasses and take headache tablets. It was then back to bed for a couple of hours before it was time to get up, in order to walk along the riverside to catch our 1pm jetboat ride that we'd booked earlier in the week. It was the last thing we wanted after our un-planned all-nighter, but it was exactly what we needed!! We signed our lives away to say that we were feeling 100% fit and healthy and got life-jacketed up and sat down for the power-boat ride along the river, reaching speeds of 80 kmph and getting drenched from all the twists and turns and donuts! Jen was a bit green throughout but survived it without seeing any of last night's gin again and we climbed off an hour later feeling completely fine and clear of any fuzziness! Hot showers got us back to our normal selves before we mooched around the shops and got our nails done.

For a change of scenery and to avoid the tacky-tastic strip on Surfers again, we got a taxi to Broadbeach for some supper. Our knees-up night turned into the complete opposite, as we admitted defeat and retired before Saturday became Sunday. A shocking performance!
