Happy Birthday (for Tuesday) Pops!

A whole blip, just for Pops! I don't know how young he is on Tuesday but I thought I'd get a chocolate cake for him to celebrate. Couldn't find proper candles so settled for a single tea-light for him to blow out and make a wish. Classy!

It also doubled up, quite handily, as a pudding at supper time. It was my turn this week to cook Sunday roast. It was a mighty feast of roast lamb, mint sauce, Yorkshire pud (care of Harry) and eight different veg! It would have been six but the boys, bless 'em brought some sprouts and a tin of mushy peas. Bring a bottle next time, eh?!
