Al-Saroukh (mark 1) - illustrating iron and its strengths.

Quite a dramatic piece that I've tried to get before but there've always been cars in my way! My book tells me that the artist who created the Al-Saroukh cobbled together two designs which were put in front of the mayor, who decided to go ahead with both because he liked them so much. I haven't seen the second version but they both trace the different uses to which man has put steel, from swords, to machinery, to spacecraft.
